Zeeco collaborates with the biggest names in the industry, enabling individuals to broaden their skills alongside teams of subject matter experts.Job SummaryApply coatings to prepared surfaces according to Shop and/or Customer Specifications.Functional Job DutiesExtensively gathering surface preparation specifications for projectsCommunicating with internal and external customers (including but not limited to engineers, Quality Control representatives, paint representatives, and other vendors/employees)Filling out paint reports and procedures for surface preparation specificationsExperience with industrial paintingAbility to safely work around the shop area with little directionCapacity to work while maintaining precautions of passing forklifts, trucks, etc.QualificationsExperience with industrial painting (Inorganic Zinc) preferred.Ability to wear a Full-face Respirator for long periods of timeMental RequirementsMust possess sufficient interpersonal skills to effectively interact with persons inside and outside the Company. Must be able to work under stress and handle multiple priorities. Must have the ability to perform mathematical calculations related to job requirements. Must be able to work under stress and meet deadlines. Must be able to maintain and process job-related paperwork effectively. Must be able to handle multiple priorities.Physical RequirementsMust be able to go up and down stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to walk long distances in possible harsh weather conditions to office, taking caution from the hazards that come with a manufacturing facility. Must be able to operate a Computer, telephone and other office equipment. Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in Company duties.
