Job Overview

The Client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Hospitality Interior Designer to join our Frederick, Maryland studio.

We are looking for a designer with 2 to 5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in hospitality or commercial interior design. This position is ideal for someone who has moved beyond entry-level work and is ready to grow within a fast-paced, project-driven design studio.

We are open to candidates whose experience level is:

• Designer, 3 to 5 years’ experience
\n
• Salary commensurate with experience.
\n
• Hospitality experience is preferred, but we will also consider candidates with strong commercial interior design experience and a clear interest in hotel, resort, and lifestyle design.
\n

Responsibilities include:

\n
• Assist the senior designer with hospitality interior design projects
\n
• Prepare and write FF&E specifications
\n
• Assist with CAD, Revit, and general drawing production
\n
• Support space planning for hotel guestrooms, public spaces, and amenity areas
\n
• Contribute conceptual design ideas for hotel and hospitality projects
\n
• Interpret brand standards for conversion and refresh projects
\n
• Verify key information in specifications, including quantities, dimensions, finishes, and product details
\n
• Source products based on direction from the senior designer
\n
• Contact vendors for product information, pricing, lead times, and follow-up
\n
• Review drawings and help ensure information is exchanged clearly with the production team
\n
• Prepare finish, material, and presentation samples
\n
• Assemble finish index sample books
\n
• Assist with design library organization and general studio support
\n

• Has working knowledge of CAD, Revit, or similar design software

• Is eager to learn the hospitality design process from concept through documentation
\n

Candidates should be located within approximately 50 miles of our office at Frederick, MD, including the Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and surrounding areas.
